We walked through the underground and saw a guy packing out his guitar.Next to him a bord written on it 'free cd's '.we stopped and asked him if could have one even if we haven't heard him playing.but you never know what to expect.we listened to it and it is great.an amazing alternative/rock band from South London called Black Tie White Noise.we made a little Q&A with the guitarist on the photo Chris Morris:
When did you start the band?
Black Tie White Noise have been together since the end of 2009.
Who writes the songs?
There are three of us and we work out all the arrangements together.Experimenting with rythms and guitars and a drum sequenicing program.One person will write the bulk of lyrics for a certain song which we also work on together.It is a collaborative process.
Where does your inspiration come from?(chris morris' part of vue)
I get inspired by everything around me.There are certain people that inspire in my life, not just musically, just in a posotive way.The guys in my band inspire to be better than I am...
What are your plans for the future?
Constinuously recording, regularly gigging.We have industry people interested in us who haven't even seen us play.Just people who I've met busking or socially, so I am hoping if we work hard enough, one of them will give us a step up the ladder.
How many people are involved in the band?
We are three piece.
Where can we see you perform in the future?
We will be playing around central London for the next few months.We are a band and just want to play.Our next gig is at PUNK in SoHo (28th August).
