International Bazaar.

I met Andri Johnson at the international bazaar next to the icelandic stand.the 4th of November.

Finally a ladurée has come to Luxembourg!FINALLY!these macarons are the best thing ever!you can buy them in every possible flavour and the inside of the shop reminds me a little of marie antoinette!the 20th November 2010 in rue philippe II/ rue de la poste.

so i have been at that really really really amazing toro y moi concert!well it was actually a mini-festival where 3 bands were supposed to play but the first one (gold panda) had been cancelled due to technical problems...anyways i loved the concert!it is a totally different style of music i used to listen to but i just love it!his music makes me feel good!so it is great!he is from south carolina and his first album came out in January 2010.the 5th of November!

i was at the wonderful concert of toro y moi/clock opera the 5th November and met svenja(right) and nadja !they both want to study art history which is pretty cool!!!love their outfits!!!

so we were AGAIN at rocas for a free concert and it was really crowded and there was that man with  that big afro hair.when the second band started(rufus ready and the imaginary friends) he started twisting and dancing like he just popped out of a time machine .it was absolutely great!the 50's atmosphere had surrounded us !the 15th of October!

This is Chris Morris we met in London...







We walked through the underground and saw a guy packing out his guitar.Next to him a bord written on it 'free cd's '.we stopped and asked him if could have one even if we haven't heard him playing.but you never know what to expect.we listened to it and it is great.an amazing alternative/rock band from South London called Black Tie White Noise.we made a little Q&A with the guitarist on the photo Chris Morris:

When did you start the band?

Black Tie White Noise have been together since the end of 2009.

Who writes the songs?

There are three of us and we work out all the arrangements together.Experimenting with rythms and guitars and a drum sequenicing program.One person will write the bulk of lyrics for a certain song which we also work on together.It is a collaborative process.

Where does your inspiration come from?(chris morris' part of vue)

I get inspired by everything around me.There are certain people that inspire in my life, not just musically, just in a posotive way.The guys in my band inspire to be better than I am...

What are your plans for the future?

Constinuously recording, regularly gigging.We have industry people interested in us who haven't even seen us play.Just people who I've met busking or socially, so I am hoping if we work hard enough, one of them will give us a step up the ladder.

How many people are involved in the band?

We are three piece.

Where can we see you perform in the future?

We will be playing around central London for the next few months.We are a band and just want to play.Our next gig is at PUNK in SoHo (28th August).

and they are playing tomorrow at the Albany in Great Portland Street in London!!

some night at rocas cafe

so we were at rocas cafe the other night and what i love about this cafe is that at any weekend there are several bands who are playing.the atmosphere is just so relaxing that you don't wanna leave.the 3 bands who were playing there were LUMI, E-MINOR and THE SIGNIES.3 amazing bands!!!!
